Six Line Roulette

The 6 Line Bet or Transversale Simple is an Inside Bet like the Single Number Bet or the Corner Bet (Square Bet). It’s got nothing to do with the number 6 (although a 6 line bet can cover this black number). They are called Inside Bets, because of the layout of a roulette betting table. They all lie inside the main betting area (as opposed to outside bets like dozens and columns that lie (yes, you guessed it), outside! This bet is used in a number of roulette staregies like the Shotwell System. If you like this bet, you should also take a look at the Six Line Quattro roulette system which plays 4 of these bets.

So you have the six line bet, and the wheel divides nicely into 6 equal segments. Just like the number 28, the number 6 is known as a Perfect Number. If you add up it´s divisors (1+2+3), you get back to 6. This “unlucky” reputation means, along with red 34, the number 6 is one of the most unpopular numbers on the roulette wheel.

We, at CryptoGames are offering a variant called 'European roulette', which is being played on a 37-number wheel, with one zero only. The payout table is the same as in American roulette. However, with one zero the house edge is being cut down by half, resulting in a low 2.70%, in comparison to the 5.40% of the american variant. Six Line: This bet covers numbers in two joining lines Outside Bets. Odd or Even: A bet that pays even money and is paid based on whether the winning number is even or odd. Zero does not pay as either. Low or High: A bet that is made on numbers between 1 to 18 and 19.

This bet is made on two lines of three numbers each that lie next to each other: a total of six numbers. This bet is made by putting your chips on the intersection between the two lines along the side of the betting area. If any of these numbers hit, the the pay off is 5-1.

For example, above, we have 4 Six Line Bets above, covering 64.8% of the table (the same as 2 colums or 2 dozens. Don’t confuse the 6 line bet with the Five Number Bet, which has the worst odds on the table. The 6 Line is a totally different animal.

Win Probability

If you place one 6 line bet on European Roulette, you have a 6:37 chance of winning (16.2%). 1 in 6.2 in other words.
If you play American Roulette, your odds are 6:38 for each 6 number bet or 15.8%. 1 in 6.3 is another way of putting it.

The House Edge on this bet is 5.26% for American Roulette (2 zero pockets) and 2.63% in European Roulette.

Roulette Strategies that Use the Six Line Bet

There are lots of strategies that use the six number bet. The simplest one, is a way of getting a bit of variation on the even money bets, which many systems like the Martingale and the Guetting Progression use. Instead of playing red/black, odd/even etc, you cover 50% of the table using 3 out of the 6 available 6 line bets. You can either overap them to reduce your table coverage, or play exclusive 6 line bets (that don’t overlap) to get the full 50% coverage. Sometime we like to cover the table this way, as it allows you to vary your coverage bet by bet. It doesn’t improve your odds (still the same house edge and chance of winning), but it does “randomize” your play.

Six Line Roulette

You can also just bet on 2 six-liners to cover the same as a column or dozen, of course. This allows you to vary some of the systems that use these bets like the Law of The Third for example. If you want to mix it up even more, use Street Bets which is a bet on one row os 3 numbers, rather than 2 rows.

Six Line Bet In Roulette

The roulette system that you will find below is based on mathematical progression. Most of the roulette strategies that are based on mathematical progressions show good results and one may win good money with them, if he has got luck on his side. Mastering all kinds of systems helps players to lower the casino edge and that’s why our main goal is to provide you with the best ones.

The following roulette system is very easy to remember and to carry out, and it is also a very effective one. To begin with, you need to choose a Six Line (for example, we choose 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6). This strategy may be carried out with different bet amounts, but we recommend $1, $5 or $10, depending on your bankroll and your resources. Of course, if you’ve got bigger bankroll and you like, you may carry this winning roulette system with $20, $50 and etc. The progression that you need to follow in order to carry out this roulette system properly is – 1-1-1-1-1-2-2-2-3-3-4-5-6-7 (14 spins in all).

In our example, we are placing $5 initial bet on the first Six Line (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6). If your first spin is a winning one and one of the six numbers that you have bet on comes out, then the session starts all over again and you choose another Six Line (for example, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18). If none of your numbers comes out, you need to continue to bet on the same Six Line according to the mathematical progression – we bet $5 on the Six Line for the first 5 spins, then $10 for the next three lucky spins, then $15 and etc. On the 14th spin, you need to bet $35. If a number of your Six Line comes out at some time, then the progression starts all over again from $5 on a different Six Line.

If you decide to carry out this Six Line roulette system with an initial bet of $1, you will need $39 balance. With $5, as with our example, you would need a bankroll of $195. With initial bet of $10, you would need $390 and etc.
